I have now taken 4 group and private lessons on PBC — excellent tutors in every case and much smaller classes with other students I liked a lot.
PBC in 40 seconds
This is PBC
Not in apps. Not in textbooks. In conversation, connection, and community. That's what we built.
Not a marketing line. Real members, real names, in their own words.

I'm having a great time learning with PBC. Everything has been really easy to organise and the Exchange feature is also great. Would recommend to anyone.
PBC is a great platform for realistic and practical language learning. The teachers are knowledgeable and passionate, focusing not only on the language but also shine a light on a given language's cultural context, history, music.
PBC keeps the spirit of what Babbel used to be, with a great community and excellent teachers.
I've been part of PBC Languages for a few months and the experience has been incredible. What I like most are the language exchanges: they are very well organised, the groups are small and there is always a very pleasant atmosphere.
I really love this platform and all the beautiful values it stands for. I've been talking with other people like me who want to improve another language and I even found a teacher for Catalan.
An excellent portal for learning languages.
Highly recommended. A way to learn the language you want, with different schedule options and very willing teachers. Really happy to have chosen PBC!!!
PBC has been wonderful — thank you so much! It's great to be able to take classes with amazing teachers and other dedicated students. The community is great.
I have so much fun doing Italian with my teachers again.
PBC Languages is an online immersion community built around consistent conversation, experienced teachers, and small groups that stay small.
Four students per class means real speaking time, personal feedback, and familiarity that builds confidence week over week.
Our teachers combine strong professional experience with deep technical expertise, but what truly sets them apart is their passion for teaching and genuine love for what they do. They adapt to the room, not a script.
English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Russian, Catalan and Turkish. All taught with the same emphasis on communication and culture.
Unlimited exchanges with native speakers, WhatsApp groups, and cultural events keep the language active between sessions.
You book your classes, and communicate directly with your teacher. No algorithms managing the experience.
Meet your fellow learners and teachers on our biannual trips. Learners who travel together learn better.
Getting started is straightforward.
You don't need to navigate complex systems or wait to be assigned somewhere. The process is simple and transparent from the beginning.
Select the language you want to practice and identify your level. If you're unsure, we help you place yourself comfortably.
Open the calendar and select a small-group session that fits your schedule.
You'll see available teachers, times, and levels clearly. No hidden matching system, you choose the class that works for you.
Attend your class, meet your group, and begin building consistency. Over time, you'll see the same teachers and often the same students. That familiarity creates comfort, and comfort increases participation. From there, the community extends beyond class through practice groups and events.
You don't need seven options to start. Most members choose one of three paths.

Most language platforms measure sign-ups. We measure consistency. Over 4,462 classes taught. Students across 30+ countries. An average teacher rating of 4.9.
But numbers don't explain why people remain. The difference is the room.
When Babbel Live closed, many learners lost more than access to classes.
We lost our weekly rhythm, our familiar teachers, and the small groups where conversations felt natural.
For a lot of us, it wasn't just a platform that disappeared. It was a sense of continuity.
There is a noticeable difference between someone who simply knows a language and someone who has dedicated their life to teaching it with depth, clarity, and care.
Experience is not a marketing line. It shapes every class. Our teachers bring deep, long-standing professional experience in language education, reflected in the way they guide, correct, and support every student.
Several were part of the original Babbel Live model, helping pioneer community-based online language learning long before it became common. They understand how small groups work, they know how to build continuity, and they recognise when confidence is growing and when it needs support.
This is not just a set of classes. It's a learning ecosystem. The community is every day.
WhatsApp groups where the conversation keeps going. Cultural events around films, traditions, and curiosity. Exchange partners who practise with you, not just near you.
Over time, you stop feeling like a student and start feeling like a member. That's the shift that changes everything.
Your first class for €10Yes. You choose your level when booking your class, and all classes are organised by language and level so you can join a group that matches your experience and feel comfortable and challenged.
Yes. WhatsApp groups, cultural events, and structured exchanges are included in all subscription plans. The community is part of the model, not an upgrade.
