  • Live small-group classes (50 min): Conversation-focused lessons with an experienced teacher and just 3–4 students. This ensures everyone speaks. Our classes give you plenty of time to talk and practice, which is essential for building real fluency.
  • Private 1-on-1 lessons: Use 2 credits for a 50-minute personalized session. Ideal when you want focused feedback or exam preparation.
  • WhatsApp practice groups: Each language has its own chat. Continue practicing daily: ask questions, share resources, and chat with peers and teachers outside class.
  • Tandem exchanges: We match you with a fellow learner (e.g. a Spanish learner with a native English speaker). You schedule your own conversation meetups and help each other practice in your target languages.
  • In-person events & meetups: We organize cultural events (like conversation cafés and local trips). Real-world interaction reinforces classroom learning and community bonds.

How Credits Work

PBC Languages uses a simple, flexible credit system:

  • 1 credit = 1 group class (50 min)
  • 2 credits = 1 private class (50 min)
  • Class Top-Ups: Buy an extra 1-credit pack anytime for more classes

Credits appear as your balance on your platform so you can see them at a glance. You decide when, how, and what to learn — take multiple group classes one week, a private lesson the next, or mix languages freely. There are no forced levels or schedules; you're in control of your progress.

Getting Started Is Easy

1. Choose your plan: Decide how many classes per week or month you want. We offer plans from light to intensive, plus single-credit top-ups. All plans include full community access.

2. Book your class: In your dashboard, open the calendar to see all available classes by language and level. Pick a time slot and a teacher (view their bio) – and you're booked. No complicated placement tests – we guide you to the right level if needed.

3. Start speaking: Join your live class online (via Zoom/Meet/Teams depending on availability). Meet your small group, practice speaking right away, and get feedback. Over time you'll often see the same teachers and classmates – that familiarity makes it comfortable to participate.

After class, keep the conversation going. Many students say the friendly, responsive community is the secret sauce. Our format is proven: real speaking in small groups (with optional private boost) leads to steady progress.

Practice Beyond the Classroom
